Hi! I'm Jason Benjamin and I'm the director here at Norton Community Television. I have some exciting new developments I'd like to share with you in this, our first blog post on our new website!
Here are some of the ways we have recently expanded our reach into the Norton Community:
This month:
* We've installed 3 new robotic Pan/Tilt/Zoom Cameras on the light pole of the new football field.
* We added 5 school locations to our LIVE video fiber optic network with the purchase of a new Layer 3 switch.
* We improved our emergency reponse capability by adding a redundant 3G network hub with long term battery backup to keep community messaging uptime at 100% during storm related power interruptions.
* We added this blog to our main website.
* We added HD viewing capability on our website.
* We added two new volunteers to our board of director. Congratulations Charlene Fisk and Ray Cord!
* We purchased a new document camera for the Selectmen's Meeting Room to add full screen video of large presentation documents.
